There’s a creative boom happening in Norwich and the wider East Anglia region – and we think the industry needs to take note.
With support from organisations like Norfolk Screen, growing independent production, and vibrant local venues like the Maddermarket Theatre and Norwich Theatre, Norfolk is more than a beautiful filming location – it’s home to a seriously capable acting community.
And yet, many of these actors remain unrepresented. Or they sign with London-based agencies only to get lost in the shuffle.
That’s where we come in
East Coast Associates exists to bridge that gap. To represent the graduates from UEA and Norwich University of the Arts who are ready for the next step. To guide actors who’ve grown through local fringe and amateur theatre and want to go professional. And to create opportunities – nationally – for those who don’t want or can’t afford to relocate.

This isn’t a numbers game. We’re not here to build a massive roster. We’re building partnerships – with a structure that offers mentorship, clarity, and honest career guidance. This isn’t an agency built from the outside looking in. It’s built from lived experience. For actors. By actors.
